On Being Bipolar Home

One of the greatest gifts that an unquiet mind reveals is the gift of creativity. There are inventors, poets, painters, artists of all walks of life are affected by Bipolar Disorder.  I am happy to be one of them.

As well as being creative with computers, I attend a Drop-In Art Therapy class twice a week for 4 hours a day.  I also am very musically gifted with the ability to play almost any instrument and I can even sing on top of it!

My true passion remains in writing.  People with Bipolar Disorder are able to express themselves in ways that other people would never think of.  I've written many amazing essays and papers, short stories and poetry.

I have chosen to share with you pictures of my paintings and samples of my poetry.  It is my wish that you will find the gentler side of this illness here.

Get your story published on the net, free!

Just  submit your short story to Dr. Bradt at the Will I Go Crazy? website. If it's a short story you wrote yourself and carefully proofread several times, she will edit it and publish it for you, for free! (No poems or true life stories, please.)  Anyone can publish on Will I Go Crazy?, but you will get special consideration if you were born with the bipolar complex and, like her, are proud of it!
